A resident and native of Addis, she passed away on Sunday, Feb 17, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge at the age of 87 at 7:42 a.m. She was a retired executive secretary for the District Attorneys of Baton Rouge, Sargent Pitcher and Ossie Brown. Visiting will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated Rev. Matthew Dupre. Interment will be in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. She is survived by her 2 nieces, Cheryl Woods Cavaliere and husband Harvey of Addis and Peggy Woods of Addis; a nephew, Donald Morales and wife Doris of Brusly; numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Kelly; her parents, Elton and Elmire Hebert Woods, 2 brothers, Gail J. Woods and Claude Woods. Pallbearers will be Wyatt LeJeune, Brett Cavaliere, Andy McKinney, Beau Bouvier, Donald Morales, and Harvey Cavaliere.
